Craig Brown has my vote, again, for Galveston mayor: Craig Brown was my city council representative for six years before becoming Galveston's mayor. In both these roles he has been available and responsive to resident input. Brown is a good listener and works diligently to address needs of all residents — and not just special interests. He brings a level of professionalism and civility to the office and I'm proud to support him for reelection as mayor.

It's a no-brainer to vote for Craig Brown for mayor: When we moved here in 2015, we knew only two people. We then bought a house in the San Jacinto neighborhood. We soon met Dr. Craig Brown, who was then our city councilman. Whenever we had a problem, he was there to guide us through to the solution. He has done the same, for all of Galveston, as our mayor. Had I had any doubts about voting for Craig, they would have been put to rest after his actions as Mayor Pro-Tem during Galveston's recent hurricane scare. He made a difficult call early enough for Galveston's citizens to make decisions about how to best protect their property and their families and worked round-the-clock during this emergency. He acquitted himself well on national newscasts - I was proud to have him represent my city. So now, having seen Craig at work as mayor under exceptionally difficult circumstances, we can all vote for him with assurance.

When two dilapidated crack houses near my home continued to be a problem, one call to Craig Brown and the whole situation was fixed. He had crews over there immediately, and within several months the houses were sold and added to the tax rolls after they were remodeled. He knows how to get things done.
